Wrist Joint Imaging and Interpretation Procedure

In this procedure, the provider performs imaging supervision and interpretation for a wrist joint study. The provider injects contrast material or air into the patient’s wrist joint and takes a series of X–rays as it flows through the joint to evaluate the different joint structures for conditions such as arthritis, adhesive capsulitis, or a frozen joint, tears, or abnormalities of the cartilage.
