The analyst performs all the technical steps to examine a tissue specimen using normal sight, dissect out the part of the specimen needed for testing, and then prepare the tissue for nonmicroscopic analysis. This code also includes a touch imprint, intraoperative consultation, or frozen section. Use this code for each separate tissue preparation.
