Tarsal Bone Dislocation Surgical Fixation

In this procedure, the provider performs treatment of a tarsal bone dislocation, which is abnormal separation of a joint, using screws and pins through the skin. The provider also performs manipulation, or adjustment, of the separated bones to reduce the dislocation. This code excludes talotarsal joints. Tarsal bones are located in the midfoot and rearfoot area and are seven in number: talus, calcaneus, navicular, cuboid, medial cuneiform, intermediate cuneiform, and lateral cuneiform.
