This code is a performance measure code used for tracking adherence by clinicians and healthcare personnel to sterile procedures. Use this code to report that all elements of sterile barrier technique, hand washing hygiene, skin preparation and, if ultrasound is used, sterile ultrasound techniques followed (CRIT) have been adhered to, to maximal extent.
