The provider repositions a percutaneous right or left ventricular assist device (VAD), inserted in the patient during a prior procedure. The provider performs the repositioning of the VAD to ensure the appropriate placement of the cannula of the device. The provider performs this procedure under radiologic or imaging guidance.
