The provider performs cervicothoracic vertebroplasty, or the surgical repair of a fractured vertebra in the cervicothoracic (neck and upper back) spine, usually involving the injection of bone cement. The provider commonly performs this procedure to treat osteoporotic compression fractures in patients where conservative treatment fails.
