Hip Arthroscopy with Labral Repair
In this procedure, the provider performs surgical arthroscopy of a hip along with labral repair. The labrum is fibrocartilage that lines the rim of the acetabulum, a cup–shaped socket of the hip joint. A labral tear may happen because of hip dislocation or may occur because a structural abnormality of the hip joint causes wear and tear of the labrum.
