High-Dose Rate Radiation Therapy for Skin Cancer

In this procedure, the provider places a minute, high dose rate X–ray source near the tumors on the skin surface to treat skin cancer. This code includes dose calculation (dosimetry) of the amount of radiation to be delivered to the tumor site, when performed.
