Craniofacial Approach for Anterior Skull Lesion

The provider accesses the anterior cranial fossa using a craniofacial approach to expose an extradural (outside the dura) lesion or defect at the base of the skull. Lateral rhinotomy, orbital exenteration, ethmoidectomy, sphenoidectomy and/or maxillectomy are included in this approach procedure.
