Cardiac Contractility Modulation for Heart Failure

The provider inserts or removes and replaces the ventricular electrode for a cardiac contractility modulation (CCM) system and attaches the electrode to the right ventricular septum (the wall between the right and left ventricle) to increase the strength of the heart's contractions and treat moderate–to–severe congestive heart failure in a patient not controlled by optimal medical therapy. This code includes evaluating contractility, if performed, programming, and the ventricular electrode. Choose a location to see hospital-reported price summaries.
