Brain Stimulation Surgery for Targeted Treatment

In this procedure, the provider removes a portion of the skull or the provider may create burr holes in the skull. The provider then uses the stereotactic method, which makes use of a three dimensional coordinate system to locate small targets inside the brain, and places a neurostimulator electrode array on the targeted location. The provider does this procedure with the use of intraoperative microelectrode recording. Choose a location to see hospital-reported price summaries.
