Bile Flow Imaging for Liver Diagnosis

The provider images the liver, bile, bile ducts, and gallbladder to follow the production and flow of bile from the liver to the small intestine to diagnose a bile duct obstruction or leakage; abnormalities in the bile ducts; gallbladder inflammation known as cholecystitis; gallstones; or other disorders that affect the hepatobiliary system.
